Andreas Skianis is the new worldwide head of partners for IC Markets

IC Market was formed in 2007 and is considered a "CLASSIC" foreign exchange broker of the modern era. Its main office is in Sydney, Australia.

IC is a well-known and HIGHLY regulated (by ASIC) brokerage that wants to give market traders the BEST possible trading experience.

International Capital Markets PTY runs the brokerage business, and its headquarters are on level 6 of 309 Kent Street in Sydney.

When compared to all the other brokers in Australia, IC Market is known for having the most leverage and the lowest spreads and fees.

IC also offers Futures, Commodities, and Indices, among other things. The broker IC Markets, which is based in Australia, has strengthened its executive position by hiring Andreas Skianis as its Global Head of Partners.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Skianis started his new job with the company this month and is based in Limassol, Cyprus.

In a LinkedIn post, he said, "I'm happy to announce that I'm starting a new job as Head of Partners at ICMarkets."

Skianis has worked with forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) brokers for a long time. During his career, he has worked for a number of brokerage firms.

He only worked for IronFX for six months before moving on to IC Markets. There, he was in charge of two new markets, Asia and Africa, as the head of business development.

He also worked for four months as the Global Business Development Manager for an offshore broker called M4Markets.

Skianis got a job at HotForex in February 2015, which was his first job in the financial services industry.

He started working at the brokerage in a job that had to do with Partnership Sales and Business Development.

Later, he was given the job of Head of Asia Business Development. He worked there for almost seven years.

A Major Broker Brand

One of the biggest names in retail forex and CFDs trading is IC Markets. It is based in Australia, where ASIC gives it a license.

But the broker has a big presence around the world. It is licensed by the financial market regulator in Cyprus to do business in Europe, and it also has licenses to do business in Seychelles and the Bahamas.

Also, the broker is pushing its services hard in the European markets, and last year it signed sponsorship deals with a number of football clubs on the continent.

Also, it joined the Financial Commission last year to improve how it protects clients and handles disagreements.

Note: IC Market doesn't offer any type of deposit, cash back, or affiliated bonus.

IC Market Platforms

In Australia, IC Market is well-known for offering trading platforms that are both smart and new. And just to be clear, traders feel fine using their trading platform as their go-to not just in Australia but also in other places.

Let's take a BETTER look at IC's trading platforms:

MetaTrader 4

The MT4 is a feature that every brokerage should have because there is no other way to get it. Also, IC's MT4 is pretty good.

It can be customized, and it comes with charting tools, EAs, and back-testing for strategies. More importantly, it helps clients from all over the world in more than one language.

MetaTrader 5

The MT5 is more of an innovative and tech-based trading platform that is built to work. It is a true successor to the classic MT4.

It also has advanced trading charts, more than 10 timeframes, the ability to use EAs, and much more!

cTrader

The cTrader is a smart and innovative trading platform that can only be found on IC's trading platforms.

The cTrader also lets you trade automatically and can be used on both desktop computers and mobile devices.

Hold on! There's more!

Traders who use Forex EAs can choose between ZuluTrade and Myfxbook with the help of the cTrader platform.

Besides that, the cTrader platform gives you:

  • A lot of charting options and a lot of ways to change things.
  • You'll have access to a LOT of money.
  • Backtesting is a feature that can be used.

Mobile Trading of IC Markets

IC Markets is now giving traders all over the world the chance to trade on their phones. MetaTrader4, which is used for mobile trading, is very similar to the web version of MT4.

And... it gets even BETTER!

Because both Android and iOS devices can use the mobile trading platform. Also, you have to download the platform from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store before you can use it.

You can then access it through the IC Live server. Also, you'll be able to use the multi-language feature in your mobile trading app, just like you can in the web version of MT4.

But it can be a pain sometimes because you have to change your device's default language.
